The Clash of Old and New Ideas..

Over the last four decades the context of ideas has been altered and changed by vast social, cultural, religious and political changes on both local and international levels. Ideologies and culture’s are colliding.

We now live in a world where the roles and rules of society are changing, inventions and technology has altered the way we used to live. Gone are the days where the man is the breadwinner of the family, every day is a struggle for survival , no thanks to covid-19.

In the twenty first century life is utterly, men and women are no longer dependent on one another for survival and security. Today, however, men and women no longer have the jobs that they held almost exclusively for centuries, we now have a Women on the Frontlines in Sambisa Forest fighting off a vicious enemy that that has threatened our existence as a Nation, We see men on our television screens participating in cooking contests.

The world bank has estimated that 87% of all poor people in Nigeria are in the Northern Region. This is a harsh and sad reality, the attitude of my Northern brothers and sisters towards economic prosperity, education and innovation has been identified as one of the key factors why the north is the epic center of poverty in Nigeria. The world is changing, science and technology has altered the way we used to live. There is no better time to wake up than NOW , it’s time for US to evolve with the rest of the world by changing our mindset.

Mindset is a king, my fellow northern breathren it’s as a matter of urgency a time for us to reoriente our mindset, and work towards having a great mindset that sees opportunities and not challenges. It’s time to scale through this crisis with innovations.

You have so much potential buried within you. Explore your creativity and innovativty, innovation does not require you to create something new, look within to find a way to enhance your skill, product and service. You owe it to yourself to try.

Crash your comfort zone be a woman of diligence recalibrate your comfort for something better.
